Major League Conditioning Centers (MLCC) has been in the business of helping people achieve their fitness goals for over two decades. It is also recognized as a business that accepts the obligations and responsibilities to the community and society at large. As a small Phoenix based business, Major League Conditioning Centers has devoted their time and efforts to help people all over the world.
In January 2005, MLCC conceived an idea to help the people that were ravaged by the tsunami the previous month. Within five weeks of the natural disaster, Major League Conditioning Centers had organized and executed a charity golf tournament, subsequently presenting a check for $13,100 to the Salvation Army.
In August of that year, another natural disaster struck in the form of a category 3 hurricane, the infamous Katrina. Once again, Major League Conditioning Centers sprang into action organizing yet another charity golf tournament. Six weeks later, MLCC presented another check to the Salvation Army in the sum of $27,350. With that, the Major League management team knew they had found a “second calling”.
2 ½ years later, MLCC was once again called upon to help. This time it hit closer to home. A dear client and pillar of the community passed away suddenly leaving a husband and 2 small special needs children to cope with the death. The success of the first two charity golf tournaments gave rise to host a third event. In March 2008, six weeks after her death, MLCC presented a $10,000 check to the education fund that had been set up for the young boys.
September 2011 marked two milestones for MLCC owner, Bill Ross. The celebration of 25 years in the fitness business and the launching of his first book gave birth to the idea of a private party whereby a charitable organization would be the beneficiary. Thus, MLCC was honored to present Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona a $3000 donation.
