Sport Specific Training

Sport specific training requires more than just strength, it requires utilizable strength, that is how strong a person is when their heart rate is at eighty-five percent or more, and how strong they are at the end of the game. This requires the training of the large muscle groups as well as the fine tuning of the smaller synergistic muscle groups.

Although all athletic endeavors require total body conditioning, each sport requires the development and flexibility of certain areas of the body. Sport specific training is a combination of strength, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, and stamina.

Programs are designed for each individual based on their chosen sport and position. With an extensive background in the sports arena, Major League Conditioning Centers is able to help not only the weekend athlete better their performance but the professional athlete who needs to enhance their chosen position.
